  • Job Title: Shipper/Receiver
    Job Status:     Full-time, first shift (M-F 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM)
    Job Description: Responsible for receiving incoming deliveries, staging and movement of materials and orders within LTI, and preparing outgoing materials and items for shipment. Valid driver’s license and ability to push, pull, lift and/or carry up to (75) pounds required. Knowledge of shipping software, forklift experience, and prior shipping/receiving experience preferred.
    Educational Requirements: High school diploma.


  • Job Title: Technical Sales Representative
    Job Status:     Full-time, first shift (M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM)
    Job Description: Primary responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries and requests within 24 hours, preparing price quotations, job tracking, establishing new customer relationships, and providing established and potential customers with outstanding customer service. This position requires the ability to excel in a fast paced environment, the ability to manage a customer portfolio of 150 customers worth $1.2 million in annual sales, the ability to interpret and understand industry related specifications, and adherence to all internal and external quality standards. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with Microsoft CRM Dynamics or other relative CRM system a plus. Some travel is required.
    Educational Requirements: B.S. in Materials Science and a minimum of two years sales experience in the metals/materials industry with a broad knowledge of industry related specifications such as ASTM, ASME, AMS, and others.


  • Job Title: Metallurgical Engineer
    Job Status:     Full-time, first shift (M-F 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
    Job Description: Primary responsibilities include conducting metallographic analyses in accordance with ASTM, ASME, and/or customer supplied specifications and test procedures, and performing sample preparation (drilling, cutting, grinding, mounting, polishing) on materials provided by the customer. Position also requires mixing etchants and maintaining records. Familiarity with the operation of SEM-EDS and digital imaging systems is desirable This position requires mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, excellent mathematical abilities, prolonged standing, and the ability to push, pull, lift and/or carry up to seventy-five (75) pounds.
    Educational Requirements: Minimum B.S. Material Science and Engineering or Metallurgy.


  • Job Title: Calibration Technician
    Job Status:     Full-time, first shift (M-F 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
    Job Description: Primary responsibilities include performing routine calibrations and repairs on hand tools and basic functional gages using standard dimensional laboratory equipment. This position requires mechanical aptitude, good mathematical abilities, and a working knowledge of MS Word and Excel. Hands on experience with mechanical measuring tools is preferred.
    Educational Requirements: High school diploma.


  • Job Title: Chemistry Technician
    Job Status:     Full-time, first shift (M-F 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
    Job Description: Primary responsibilities include sample preparation, chemical testing and analysis of test results, and other laboratory tasks. ICP and wet lab experience desirable. This position requires excellent attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to process work in a fast paced environment, strong mathematical ability, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
    Educational Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Chemistry or related science preferred, but will consider candidate with a minimum of (7) years related work experience.


  • Job Title: Machine Shop Technician (Lathe Operator)
    Job Status:     Full-time, second shift (M-F 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM)
    Job Description: Primary responsibilities include programming and running both CNC and manual lathes. Minimum 1-2 years CNC and manual lathe experience and working knowledge of other machine shop equipment preferred, but will consider training the right person without prior experience. This position requires excellent attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to process work in a fast paced environment, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
    Educational Requirements: High school diploma with related trade or technical school diploma or certificate preferred.


  • Job Title: Calibration Assistant
    Job Status:     Part-time, first shift (approx. 20 - 25 hours/week)
    Job Description: Primary responsibility is to support the metrology lab by preparing incoming work for calibration and outgoing work for shipment. This includes cleaning and staging incoming work and sealing or applying rust inhibitors to calibrated gaging in accordance with applicable procedures.
    Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required.
