Metallurgical Engineer

Job Status:

Full-time, first shift (7:00 AM-4:30 PM)

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include conducting metallographic analyses in accordance with ASTM, ASME, and/or customer supplied specifications and test procedures, and performing sample preparation (drilling, cutting, grinding, mounting, polishing) on materials provided by the customer. Position also requires mixing etchants and maintaining records. Familiarity with the operation of SEM-EDS and digital imaging systems is desirable. This position requires mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, excellent mathematical abilities, prolonged standing, and the ability to push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to seventy-five (75) pounds.

Chemistry Technician

Job Status:

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include sample preparation, chemical testing and analysis of test results, and other laboratory tasks. Lab experience, especially with Direct Reading Atomic Emission Spectroscopy, desirable. This position requires excellent attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to process work in a fast paced environment, strong mathematical ability, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Mechanical Testing Technician

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include tensile, hardness, charpy, stress rupture, and miscellaneous testing and some equipment maintenance. This position requires mechanical aptitude, mathematical ability, some computer skills, and the ability to push, pull, lift and/or carry up to seventy-five (75) pounds. Experience preferred, but not required.

IT Support Technician

Job Status:

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include helping to support our internal network and making it more efficient using new technologies. This includes troubleshooting and resolving computer and software issues, identifying technology solutions based on analysis of customer support needs, and providing technical assistance and support for other IT support staff. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years experience installing and troubleshooting problems on Win XP, Windows 7, Win2003/2008 Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange and DNS, End-User and Help Desk experience in MS Office Suite and other common desktop applications, and knowledge of Microsoft SQL server and the ability to build queries and pull data into Excel spreadsheets.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a computer information field required. Certifications such as A+, MCSE, MCTS, MCITP, CNE, and/or CCNA are a plus, but not required. Strong technical and troubleshooting skills and knowledge in database structures preferred.

Accounting Assistant

Job Status:

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, all aspects of invoice coding and entry, purchase requests processing, maintaining spreadsheets and vendor files, GL postings, and account reconciliations. The candidate will be required to have at least a minimum of 4 years general accounting experience including a minimum of 2 years of A/P, G/L and Purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, Word and spreadsheet applications required and a working knowledge of Great Plains is preferred. The candidate must possess excellent communication, problem solving, reasoning, and research skills.

Liquid Penetrant Inspector

Job Status:

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include performing liquid penetrant testing of parts and materials and analyzing test results. This includes unpacking parts and materials received for testing, setting up test equipment and ensuring that the equipment is in calibration and operating properly, and repackaging equipment for shipping after the testing has been completed. This position requires mechanical aptitude, material handling utilizing forklifts and monorail cranes, and the ability to push, pull, lift and/or carry up to seventy-five (75) pounds. Prior NDT experience helpful, but not required.

Job Status:

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining the building/facility. This includes trash removal, recycling, maintaining the cleanliness of restrooms, lunchrooms, and office and shop areas, floor maintenance, and making basic repairs. Prior custodial and light repair maintenance experience including electrical, plumbing, painting, etc. preferred.

Field Calibration Technician

Job Status:

Job Description:

Responsibilities include performing all types of metrology and dimensional inspections both in-house and on site at customer facilities. Types of instruments serviced include, but is not limited to, hardness testers, optical comparators, microscopes, surface plates, and electrical and temperature instrumentation. Strong mechanical aptitude, mathematical abilities, and computer experience utilizing MS Excel, Word, and other software required. Some customer experience preferred. Some heavy lifting and exertion required. Position requires a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and occasional overnight travel. Prior experience in all areas within the field of metrology is desired.

Educational Requirements:

Minimum high school diploma with additional technical training

Saw Operator

Job Status:

Full-time, second shift (2:30 PM-11:00 PM)

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include the cutting of metals to be machined. A minimum of two (2) years of machine shop experience with sawing duties preferred. This position requires excellent attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to process work in a fast paced environment, the ability to interpret prints, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. This position also requires prolonged standing, and the ability to push, pull, lift and/or carry up to seventy-five (75) pounds.

High school diploma with related trade or technical school diploma or certificate preferred
