Job Status:

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include sample preparation, chemical testing and analysis of test results, and other laboratory tasks. Lab experience, especially with Direct Reading Atomic Emission Spectroscopy, desirable. This position requires excellent attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to process work in a fast paced environment, strong mathematical ability, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Ultrasonic Testing Set-up Specialist/Technician

Job Status:

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include performing ultrasonic inspection machine set-ups and the testing of materials provided by customers in accordance with applicable specifications and procedures. This includes unpacking and handling materials utilizing monorail cranes and forklifts, setting up and testing materials, ensuring accuracy and compliance to test requirements, analyzing and documenting test results, ensuring that test equipment and instruments are functioning properly and in calibration prior to performing any tests, and assisting with the cleaning, preventive maintenance, and repair of test equipment, as required. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to utilize common material handling equipment including forklifts, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. This position requires prolonged standing and the ability to push, pull, lift and/or carry up to seventy-five (75) pounds.

Educational Requirements:

High school diploma required with a minimum of 5 years experience as a UT Level 2 Inspector performing Ultrasonic inspection machine set-ups and testing of materials. Candidate should have strong mechanical and mathematical aptitude.

X-Ray Administrative Assistant

Job Status:

Full-time, first shift (8:00 AM-4:30 PM)

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include order entry and contract review, preparing test reports and Radiographic Technique Sheets, and performing other office and clerical duties, as needed. This includes determining that required testing is within LTI’s scope or capability, accurately entering orders based on purchase order requirements, reviews completed test requirements and test results and types this data on the Test Report and Radiographic Technique Sheet, obtains resolution of questionable data with technical personnel, proofreads documents for completeness and accuracy, and verifies order pricing. Attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a time sensitive environment, and the ability to read and interpret technical data are critical. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel is required.

Metrology Manager

Job Status:

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include directing and overseeing the operations of the Metrology, Dimensional, and Field Calibration departments. This includes ensuring that profitability and quality standards are maintained, developing and preparing quotes for new jobs, interacting with customers regarding specifications and procedures, addressing customer questions, coordinating daily work schedules with supervisors and prioritizing jobs to be completed, and reviewing new test procedures. Job Status:

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include operating EDM and cylindrical grinding machines. Working knowledge of other machine shop equipment desirable. This position requires excellent attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to process work in a fast paced environment, the ability to hold tight tolerances, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Controller

Job Description:

Oversees all Accounting activities of the organization. Develops, implements, and oversees the organization’s financial plans and policies, budget management functions, and financial records and reports. Directs and mentors staff in the day-to-day operations of the Accounting department. Acts as a key member of the management team to oversee the forecasting and strategic planning processes to ensure proper financial and other results for current and future operations.

Key job characteristics include knowledge of generally accepted Accounting principles; knowledge of payroll processes and related tax regulations; knowledge of Microsoft Office; and a knowledge of business planning processes.

Quality Assurance Auditor/Engineer

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include performing contracted audits of customer suppliers, internal audits, and supplier audits; developing and implementing procedures and documentation to achieve regulatory compliance with standards and agencies such as ISO 17025, ASME B&PV Code, 10 CFR 50(B), ANSI/ASME NQA-1, ANSI/NCSL Z540, ISO 10012-1, MIL-45208A, ISO 9001, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, Nadcap, and A2LA; reviewing material testing specifications and updating procedures to achieve compliance; scheduling and participating in required proficiency testing and obtaining corrective action on outliers; preparing protocol, developing, and administering Internal Round Robin tests; preparing and implementing protocols for Installation Qualification and Operational Qualification (IQOQ) of equipment; preparing and implementing protocols for process validation; performing and/or approving software validation; participating in customer and regulatory agency audits; assisting with the implementation and maintenance of the quality system; and assisting with achieving and maintaining various accreditations. This position requires thorough knowledge of and the ability to interpret specifications, the ability to travel up to 1-2 weeks per month, thorough knowledge of Materials Testing and familiarity with Nondestructive Testing, strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to schedule work and meet deadlines on a continuing basis, the ability to identify and resolve problems, the ability to analyze data and make sound decisions, and proficiency in the use of various computer programs.
