Machine Shop Helper

Job Status:

Full-time, first shift (6:30 AM-3:00 PM)

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include the calibration of equipment, organization of scrap materials, chip dumping, job packaging- laser marking and deburring, job layout, job location tracking and status updates, and delivering jobs to Shipping. This position requires excellent attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to process work in a fast paced environment, the ability to interpret prints, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. This position also requires prolonged standing, and the ability to push, pull, lift and/or carry up to seventy-five (75) pounds.

Educational Requirements:

High school diploma required with related trade or technical school diploma or certificate preferred.

Chemistry Technician

Job Status:

Full-time, first shift (8:00 AM-4:30 PM)

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include sample preparation, chemical testing and analysis of test results, and other laboratory tasks. Lab experience, especially with Direct Reading Atomic Emission Spectroscopy, desirable. This position requires excellent attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to process work in a fast paced environment, strong mathematical ability, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Chemistry or related science preferred, but will consider candidate with a minimum of (7) years related work experience.

Ultrasonic Testing Technician

Job Status:

Full-time, first shift (7:00 AM-3:30 PM)

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include performing ultrasonic inspection and testing of materials in accordance with applicable specifications and procedures. Material handling and some equipment maintenance is required. This position requires mechanical aptitude, good mathematical abilities, prolonged standing, and the ability to push, pull, lift and/or carry up to seventy-five (75) pounds. Candidates must be certifiable to SNT-TC-1A Level II.

Mechanical Testing Technician – 1st Shift

Job Status:

Full-time, first shift (7:00 AM-3:30 PM)

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include tensile, hardness, charpy, stress rupture, and miscellaneous testing and some equipment maintenance.  This position requires mechanical aptitude, mathematical ability, some computer skills, and the ability to push, pull, lift and/or carry up to seventy-five (75) pounds.  Experience preferred, but not required.

Office Generalist

Job Status:

Part-time, first shift (3-4 days per week for a total of 20 hours)

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include supporting the Marketing Department with phone calls, data entry, tracking, research, purchasing, writing, online posting, and other responsibilities. This position requires excellent phone, typing, spelling, proof-reading and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 2010 software (especially Word, Excel & Outlook) and navigating the Internet are a must. Ideal candidate will be detail oriented, have the ability to work independently, and have strong writing skills. Experience with Microsoft CRM is a plus.

IT Support Technician

Job Status:

Full-time, first shift (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include helping to support our internal network and making it more efficient using new technologies.  This includes troubleshooting and resolving computer and software issues, identifying technology solutions based on analysis of customer support needs, and providing technical assistance and support for other IT support staff.  The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years experience installing and troubleshooting problems on Win XP, Windows 7, Win2003/2008 Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange and DNS, End-User and Help Desk experience in MS Office Suite and other common desktop applications, and knowledge of Microsoft SQL server and the ability to build queries and pull data into Excel spreadsheets.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a computer information field required. Certifications such as A+, MCSE, MCTS, MCITP, CNE, and/or CCNA are a plus, but not required. Strong technical and troubleshooting skills and knowledge in database structures preferred.

CNC Mill Operator

Job Status:

Full-time, second shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include CNC and manual milling.  Essential duties include setting up and running parts and test specimens, maintaining traceability of materials and parts, troubleshooting problems, and assisting with maintaining shop equipment.  3-5 years milling experience and working knowledge of other machine shop equipment preferred.  Experience with G-code programming helpful.  This position requires excellent attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to process work in a fast paced environment, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Educational Requirements:

High school diploma required with related trade or technical school diploma or certificate preferred.

HR Generalist

Job Status:

Full-time, first shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include assisting with recruiting and hiring, compliance, benefits administration, and administering plans, policies, and procedures.  The candidate must have broad knowledge of human resources laws, practices, and procedures and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, have excellent attention to detail, be able to perform work with a high degree of accuracy, and be able to multi-task.  Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel is required.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business with 3-5 years Human Resources experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. PHR or SPHR certification required.
