Inside Sales

Job Status:

Full-time, first shift (8:00 AM-5:00 PM or 8:30 AM-5:30 PM)

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries and requests within 24 hours, preparing price quotations, job tracking, establishing new customer relationships, and providing established and potential customers with outstanding customer service. This position requires the ability to excel in a fast paced environment, the ability to manage a customer portfolio of about 150 customers worth $1.2 million in annual sales, the ability to interpret and understand industry related specifications, and adherence to all internal and external quality standards. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with Microsoft CRD Dynamics or other relative CRM system a plus.

Educational Requirements:

4-year college degree with a background in materials engineering or a minimum of 5 years sales/customer experience in the materials industry preferred

Cylindrical Grinder Operator

Job Status:

Full-time, first shift (6:30 AM-3:00 PM)

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include operating EDM and cylindrical grinding machines. Working knowledge of other machine shop equipment desirable. This position requires excellent attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to process work in a fast paced environment, the ability to hold tight tolerances, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. This position also requires prolonged standing, and the ability to push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to seventy-five (75) pounds. The ideal candidate with have a minimum of 2-4 years experience with a solid background in operating EDM and cylindrical grinding equipment.

Educational Requirements:

High school diploma required with related trade or technical school diploma or certificate preferred.

Machine Shop Helper

Job Status:

Full-time, first shift (6:30 AM-3:00 PM)

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include the calibration of equipment, organization of scrap materials, chip dumping, job packaging- laser marking and deburring, job layout, job location tracking and status updates, and delivering jobs to Shipping. This position requires excellent attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to process work in a fast paced environment, the ability to interpret prints, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. This position also requires prolonged standing, and the ability to push, pull, lift and/or carry up to seventy-five (75) pounds.

Educational Requirements:

Metrology Manager

Job Status:

Full- time (7:00 AM-4:30 PM)

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include directing and overseeing the operations of the Metrology, Dimensional, and Field Calibration departments. This includes ensuring that profitability and quality standards are maintained, developing and preparing quotes for new jobs, interacting with customers regarding specifications and procedures, addressing customer questions, coordinating daily work schedules with supervisors and prioritizing jobs to be completed, and reviewing new test procedures. This position also attends technical groups and various committee meetings and training sessions, participates in strategic planning with the management team, and assists with the hiring and training of new personnel.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering with a minimum of 5-7 years experience in quality testing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Ultrasonic Testing Set-up Specialist/Technician

Job Status:

Full-time, second shift (3:00 PM-11:30 PM)

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include performing ultrasonic inspection machine set-ups and the testing of materials provided by customers in accordance with applicable specifications and procedures. This includes unpacking and handling materials utilizing monorail cranes and forklifts, setting up and testing materials, ensuring accuracy and compliance to test requirements, analyzing and documenting test results, ensuring that test equipment and instruments are functioning properly and in calibration prior to performing any tests, and assisting with the cleaning, preventive maintenance, and repair of test equipment, as required. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to utilize common material handling equipment including forklifts, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. This position requires prolonged standing and the ability to push, pull, lift and/or carry up to seventy-five (75) pounds.

Educational Requirements:

High school diploma required with a minimum of 5 years experience as a UT Level 2 Inspector performing Ultrasonic inspection machine set-ups and testing of materials. Candidate should have strong mechanical and mathematical aptitude.

Lathe Operator

Job Status:

Full-time, second shift (2:30 PM-11:00 PM)

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include operating CNC and manual lathes. Working knowledge of other machine shop equipment desirable. This position requires excellent attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to process work in a fast paced environment, the ability to hold tight tolerances, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. This position also requires prolonged standing, and the ability to push, pull, lift and/or carry up to seventy-five (75) pounds. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience with a solid background in operating and programming Okuma, Haas, and Mori Seiki lathes.

Educational Requirements:

High school diploma required with related trade or technical school diploma or certificate preferred.
