Job Status:

Full-time, first shift (7:00 AM-3:30 PM)

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include sample preparation, chemical testing and analysis of test results, and other laboratory tasks. Lab experience, especially with Direct Reading Atomic Emission Spectroscopy, desirable. This position requires excellent attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to process work in a fast paced environment, strong mathematical ability, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Field Calibration Technician

Job Status:

Full time, first shift (M-F 7:00 AM-3:30 PM)

Job Description:

Responsibilities include performing all types of metrology and dimensional inspections both in-house and on site at customer facilities. Types of instruments serviced include, but is not limited to, hardness testers, optical comparators, microscopes, surface plates, and electrical and temperature instrumentation. Strong mechanical aptitude, mathematical abilities, and computer experience utilizing MS Excel, Word, and other software required. Some customer experience preferred. Some heavy lifting and exertion required. Position requires a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and occasional overnight travel. Prior experience in all areas within the field of metrology is desired.

Custodian

Job Status:

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining the building/facility. Lathe Operator

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include operating CNC and manual lathes. Working knowledge of other machine shop equipment desirable. This position requires excellent attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to process work in a fast paced environment, the ability to hold tight tolerances, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Certification Clerk

Job Status:

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include performing contracted audits of customer suppliers, internal audits, and supplier audits; developing and implementing procedures and documentation to achieve regulatory compliance with standards and agencies such as ISO 17025, ASME B&PV Code, 10 CFR 50(B), ANSI/ASME NQA-1, ANSI/NCSL Z540, ISO 10012-1, MIL-45208A, ISO 9001, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, Nadcap, and A2LA; reviewing material testing specifications and updating procedures to achieve compliance; scheduling and participating in required proficiency testing and obtaining corrective action on outliers; preparing protocol, developing, and administering Internal Round Robin tests; preparing and implementing protocols for Installation Qualification and Operational Qualification (IQOQ) of equipment; preparing and implementing protocols for process validation; performing and/or approving software validation; participating in customer and regulatory agency audits; assisting with the implementation and maintenance of the quality system; and assisting with achieving and maintaining various accreditations. This position requires thorough knowledge of and the ability to interpret specifications, the ability to travel up to 1-2 weeks per month, thorough knowledge of Materials Testing and familiarity with Nondestructive Testing, strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to schedule work and meet deadlines on a continuing basis, the ability to identify and resolve problems, the ability to analyze data and make sound decisions, and proficiency in the use of various computer programs.

CNC Milling Technician

Job Status:

Full-time, second shift (2:30 PM-11:00 PM)

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include CNC and manual milling. The technician performs all types of milling operations including setting up for long and short runs of parts and squaring up and machining specimens out of odd shaped configurations. A minimum of two (2) years machine shop experience with milling duties preferred. This position requires excellent attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to process work in a fast paced environment, the ability to read a micrometer and hold tight tolerances, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Data Entry/Clerical

Job Status:

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include preparing, amending, and correcting Certified Test Reports and Calibration Certificates. This includes accurately and efficiently typing, amending, and correcting Test Reports and Certificates; reviewing test/calibration requirements and test/calibration results and typing this data on the report/certificate;  and proofreading test reports/certificates to ensure completeness and accuracy. The ideal candidate has the ability to qualify as an auditor, has the ability to interpret customer purchase orders, specifications, and technical data, and has the skills to provide training to others. Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel and the ability to read and interpret technical data is required. The candidate must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, have excellent attention to detail, be able to perform work with a high degree of accuracy, and be able to multi-task.

Metallography Technician

Job Status:

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include conducting metallographic analyses in accordance with ASTM, ASME, and/or customer supplied specifications and test procedures, and performing sample preparation (drilling, cutting, grinding, mounting, polishing) on materials provided by the customer. Position also requires mixing etchants and maintaining records. Familiarity with the operation of digital imaging systems is desirable. Inside Sales

Job Status:

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries and requests within 24 hours, preparing price quotations, job tracking, establishing new customer relationships, and providing established and potential customers with outstanding customer service. IT Infrastructure and Database Analyst

Job Status:

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include analyzing, cleansing, transforming, managing, and validating data; implementing a LIMS application; troubleshooting and resolving computer and software issues; identifying technology solutions based on analysis of customer support needs; and providing technical assistance and support for other IT support staff. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years experience working with accounting systems, customer relationship programs, and data structure; building queries and stored procedures, pulling data into Excel spreadsheets, pivot tables, and SSRS from SQL; installing and troubleshooting problems on Win XP, Windows 7, Win2003/2008 Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange and DNS; End-User and Help Desk experience in MS Office Suite and other common desktop applications; and a working knowledge of Microsoft SQL server, ERP or LIMS program, Microsoft CRM, SSRS or Crystal Reports.

Educational Requirements:
