Nondestructive Testing
Have LTI test your material prior to machining or fabricating, or inspect parts before they are installed into service. Our nondestructive testing services will identify surface or subsurface flaws and defects without causing harm to your parts and materials. We can take care of orders for ultrasonic testing, X-ray inspection, magnetic particle inspection, liquid penetrant inspection and hydrostatic pressure testing. Most of our testing is performed on metal products, parts and materials in all shapes and sizes. X-ray inspection and liquid penetrant inspection are available for some additional solid materials too.
Our NDT inspectors are certified to ASNT SNT-TC-1A, NAS410/MIL-STD-410, MIL-STD-2132 and Pratt & Whitney PWA-NDTQ to meet your industry requirements. LTI is PRI/Nadcap accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 and our quality system complies with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.
