NDT Testing Lab Locates Defects
Services performed at Lab Testing's nondestructive testing or NDT lab provide valuable insight into the quality and reliability of materials or products. Depending on your needs and the type of material being inspected, surface and near-surface flaws can be identified using visual inspection, ultrasonic testing (UT), or magnetic particle and liquid penetrant inspection, which use dyes or particles to assist in visual identification of flaws. To locate sub-surface defects without harming your material, Laboratory Testing Inc. relies on contact and immersion ultrasonic testing or X-ray inspection.
Our NDT testing lab is equipped with 2-ton and 3-ton cranes and high-capacity forklifts to move products of all sizes and shapes to our testing areas. NDT Inspectors are certified to ASNT SNT-TC-1A, NAS410/MIL-STD-410 and MIL-STD-2132 and the NDT lab is PRI/Nadcap accredited for the above mentioned services. For reliability, all results are evaluated by our certified NDT Level II and Level III inspectors.
