Laboratory Testing Inc. Sponsors ASM Materials Camp
The Philadelphia ASM Chapter successfully conducted their fifth annual Materials Camp at Drexel University from June 22 through 26. Materials Camp is a week-long hands-on academic day camp that introduces high school students to the field of materials science and engineering. Twenty-four high school students from the Philadelphia area were exposed to this priceless learning experience through the financial support of sponsors like Laboratory Testing Inc. Using both the classroom, and a hands-on laboratory environment, the students were introduced to metals, polymers, ceramics, composites, and nonomaterials.
