LTI Materials Testing & Calibration at Fabtech / AWS Welding Show

Laboratory Testing Inc. (LTI) will feature materials testing, nondestructive testing, dimensional inspection, welder and procedure qualification, failure analysis and calibration services in Booth #604 at the Fabtech International & AWS Welding Show. The Show will be held from November 14 - 17, 2011 in Chicago, IL.

The Fabtech and AWS Welding Show brings together businesses in the fields of metal forming, fabricating, finishing and welding. As a Nadcap accredited materials testing, nondestructive testing and failure analysis specialist, Laboratory Testing Inc. provides these businesses with Certified Materials Test Reports and information on material properties, characteristics, composition, defects and susceptibility to corrosion. The testing laboratory also utilizes materials and nondestructive testing services to perform Welder and Procedure Qualification and to address material failures for root cause failure analyses.

LTI’s full-service Metrology Lab performs dimensional inspection and calibration services. Surface and specialty features on machined products and parts are inspected using video and contact CMM (coordinate measuring machine) equipment. The laboratory provides NIST-traceable and A2LA accredited dimensional, pressure, force, torque, electrical, temperature, mass and vacuum calibration services for hand tools, gages, standards, surface plates, optical comparators, hardness testers, balances and other instruments used for precision measurement.
