Quality Updates
At times, regulatory agencies approve or revise guidelines and specifications that impact services provided by LTI. Recent updates will be noted in this section of our website:
Implementation of Specification Revisions
Laboratory Testing’s Policy on implementation of revisions to specifications (i.e. ASTM, AMS, ISO, etc.) is in keeping with Nadcap and ASME standards. The revision of the specification (i.e. ASTM, AMS, ISO, etc.) becomes effective six (6) months after the issue date of the revision. The use of such revisions is optional during this six (6) month grace period. Unless an earlier revision is specified in the customer’s order or in the governing document, the latest revision of the specifications (i.e. ASTM, AMS, ISO, etc.) on file at LTI shall be used.
