Laboratory Testing Inc. offers expertise in material characterization, trace analysis and research. Our chemical analysis services can determine the composition or elemental make-up of materials using instrumental chemical analysis services and wet chemistry. The lab's capabilities include chemical analysis of metals, powdered metals, ores, ferroalloys, composites, ceramics and more. Trace analysis is performed using spectrometers with detection limits in the "parts per million" range for many metals. Our chemists welcome the challenge to perform chemical analysis on work with limited sample weight or specialized requirements.

RoHS Directive

The Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive or RoHS Directive, was drawn up in the European Union to protect human health and the environment from hazardous substances. The directive applies to most manufacturers, sellers, distributors and recyclers of electrical and electronic components or equipment sold or used in the European Union.

The Directive restricts the use of six hazardous substances in these products - lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls and polybrominated diphenyl ethers.
