• Materials Testing

  Although our materials testing specialty is metals testing, we also offer expertise in the analysis of powdered metals, ores, ferroalloys, composites and ceramics. Results are provided in detailed Certified Test Reports to meet customers’ quality assurance needs and to answer questions about material characteristics, properties, flaws and corrosion resistance. Our mechanical, metallurgical and chemical testing labs are equipped with the latest computerized equipment.

• Nondestructive Testing

  Our state-of-the-art nondestructive testing equipment guarantees timely and accurate results, and has the capacity to handle tubing, pipe, barstock and products of almost any size and shape. The full-service NDT lab performs ultrasonic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, X-ray, hydrostatic pressure and visual inspection services. All testing results are outlined for you in an easy-to-read Certified Test Report.

• Failure Analysis

  When metal components fail to perform as expected, our engineers can help you understand why and provide insight to prevent the problem from recurring. You'll receive a comprehensive failure analysis report listing all findings from our failure investigation and our recommendations.

• Specimen Machining

  For convenience, let our machinists prepare high quality, economical specimens for your testing from metals and many plastics. We strictly adhere to specified industry standards and customer specifications for all specimen machining.

• Dimensional Inspection

  First-article and third-party inspections of surface dimensions, internal and external threads, and special features are performed on machined products, parts and fasteners to verify measurements. Your dimensional inspection results will be provided in a comprehensive certified report.

• Calibration Services

  A wide variety of masters, gages and measuring tools are calibrated to verify that the items meet their performance specifications. Field service, repairs, replacement parts and new instruments are also provided. All calibration services are performed with reliable accuracy and timely turnaround. Results are NIST-traceable and reported in detailed Calibration Certificates.
