Job Status:

Full-time, first shift (8:00 AM-5:30 PM)

Job Description:


Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for establishing contact with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, and following up on potential leads within his/her territory and expertise.

Scope of Responsibility:

Member of the sales team that helps ensure the achievement of the company’s revenue and profit goals by selling the company’s services to existing, new, and potential customers and ensuring their satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establishes new business by planning and organizing daily activities to call on existing or potential prospects.
  • Work with Account Managers to service accounts.
  • Attends industry trade shows to accumulate new leads and make productive contact with existing customers.
  • Participates in the strategic planning process of the Sales Team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 – 7 years of sales experience, materials testing or metals background helpful.
  • willing to travel 50% of the time.
  • Strong computer skills and understanding of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.

EDM Technician

Job Status:

Full time, second shift (2:30 PM-11:00 PM)

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include operating EDM machines. Working knowledge of other machine shop equipment desirable.  This position requires excellent attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to process work in a fast paced environment, the ability to hold tight tolerances, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.  This position also requires prolonged standing, and the ability to push, pull, lift and/or carry up to seventy-five (75) pounds.  The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-4 years’ experience with a solid background in operating EDM equipment.

Educational Requirements:

High school diploma with related trade or technical school diploma or certificate preferred

Shipper/Receiver- Metrology

Job Status:

Full-time, first shift (7:30 AM-4:00 PM)

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include receiving incoming deliveries, staging and movement of materials and orders within the Metrology department, and preparing outgoing materials and items for shipment. Valid driver’s license and the ability to push, pull, lift and/or carry up to (75) pounds required. Knowledge of shipping software, forklift experience, and prior shipping/receiving experience preferred.

Calibration Technician

Job Status:

Full-time, first shift (7:30 AM-4:00 PM)

Job Description:

Position Summary: Performs inspection, calibration, and repair services on measuring instruments, test equipment, machined products, and parts and fasteners provided by customers in accordance with applicable specifications and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs various types of inspection, calibration, and repair services on measuring instruments and test equipment as assigned by the Metrology Calibration Supervisor. This includes setting up all machines and other equipment used for testing.
  • Certifies electronic test equipment such as multi-meters (DVM’s), temperature sensors and readouts.
  • Certifies electro-mechanical equipment such as pressure sensors and gauges, load cells and readouts, and torque wrenches,
  • Certifies gages such as micrometers, calipers, rings, discs, threads, plugs, and dial indicators using standard dimensional laboratory equipment.
  • Follows all applicable and required specifications and procedures, insuring accuracy and compliance to test requirements.
  • Insures that the test equipment and instruments are functioning properly and in calibration prior to performing any tests. Informs the supervisor whenever any equipment or instrumentation is found to be out of calibration or in need of repair.
  • Analyzes and documents test and inspection results, consulting with the department supervisor as necessary.
  • Monitors scheduled completion dates and times to insure that established schedules are met. The supervisor must be notified sufficiently in advance whenever the schedule for a job might not be met.
  • Insures that completed products are properly stored and protected prior to shipment to customer.
  • Assists with maintaining test equipment. This includes cleaning the equipment, performing preventive maintenance as scheduled, and performing repair maintenance as assigned.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintains assigned work area(s) in a clean, organized, and safe condition at all times.
  • Understands and complies with LTI’s QA Program at all times.
  • Seeks clarification when job specifications, methods, or directions are unclear.
  • Assists Sales/Customer Service staff as requested by the supervisor.
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures at all times.
  • Follows all safety rules and regulations at all times and utilizes personal protective equipment, as required.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the Metrology Supervisor or Metrology Manager.

Essential Skills and Qualifications/Requirements:
