Mechanical Testing Technician- 2nd Shift

Job Status:

Full-time, second shift (2:30 PM-11:00 PM)

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include tensile, hardness, charpy, stress rupture, and miscellaneous testing and some equipment maintenance. This position requires mechanical aptitude, mathematical ability, some computer skills, and the ability to push, pull, lift and/or carry up to seventy-five (75) pounds.  Experience preferred, but not required.

Educational Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Cylindrical Grinding Technician

Job Status:

Full-time, first shift (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM)

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include operating cylindrical grinding machines and CNC and manual lathes. Working knowledge of other machine shop equipment is desirable. This position requires excellent attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to process work in a fast paced environment, the ability to hold tight tolerances, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.  This position also requires prolonged standing, and the ability to push, pull, lift and/or carry up to seventy-five (75) pounds.  The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience with a solid background in setting up and operating cylindrical grinding equipment and lathes.

Educational Requirements:

High school diploma required with related trade or technical school diploma or certificate preferred.

CNC Milling Operator

Job Status:

Full-time, second shift (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM)

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include CNC and manual milling. Essential duties include setting up and running parts and test specimens, maintaining traceability of materials and parts, troubleshooting problems, and assisting with maintaining shop equipment.  3-5 years milling experience and working knowledge of other machine shop equipment preferred.  Experience with G-code programming helpful.  This position requires excellent attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to process work in a fast paced environment, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.  This position also requires prolonged standing, and the ability to push, pull, lift and/or carry up to seventy-five (75) pounds.  The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-4 years experience with a solid background in operating milling equipment.

Educational Requirements:

High school diploma required with related trade or technical school diploma or certificate preferred.

Ultrasonic Testing Technician-2nd Shift

Job Status:

Full-time, second shift (3:00 PM-11:30 PM)

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include performing ultrasonic inspection and testing of materials in accordance with applicable specifications and procedures. Experience with immersion inspection helpful. Material handling and some equipment maintenance is required.  This position requires mechanical aptitude, good mathematical abilities, prolonged standing, and the ability to push, pull, lift and/or carry up to seventy-five (75) pounds.  Candidates must be certifiable to SNT-TC-1A Level II.

Educational Requirements:

High school diploma.

Shipper/Receiver (for NDT)

Job Status:

Full-time, first shift (7:00 AM-3:30 PM)

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include receiving incoming deliveries, staging and movement of materials and orders within LTI, and preparing outgoing materials and items for shipment. This position requires familiarity with proper packaging methods, material handling utilizing forklifts and other material handling equipment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to push, pull, lift and/or carry up to seventy-five (75) pounds .  A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.  Prior shipping, receiving, and material handling experience desirable.

Truck Driver

Job Status:

Full time, first shift (M-F 7:00-3:30)

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include the pick-up and delivery of customer materials using company owned vehicles. This position requires a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to push, pull, lift and/or carry up to seventy-five (75) pounds.
