LTI Selected for Best Places to Work in PA List

Best Places to Work in PALaboratory Testing Inc. has been selected as one of the 2012 Best Places to Work in PA. LTI had been a past entrant and winner in the 2002, 2009 and 2011 awards programs. The awards list consists of 100 companies divided into two categories based of the company’s size. Laboratory Testing Inc. is in the small/medium category with 25-250 employees; the other category is for larger companies. Rankings will be announced at an event on November 29, 2012 at the Lancaster County Convention Center.

The Best Places to Work program was designed in 2000 to identify, recognize and honor the best employers in Pennsylvania. The statewide survey and awards program is a partnership between Team Pennsylvania Foundation, the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, the Central Penn Business Journal and Best Companies Group.

All Best Places to Work program applicants go through an assessment process that consists of two parts: a review of the company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophies, systems and demographics, and employee feedback provided through an online survey about the work environment, growth and development opportunities. The first assessment is worth 25% of the ranking score, while the second evaluation is worth 75% of the total ranking.
